Hobie Bait Tank Crack......Flaw or ??

Found this today, unsure when it happened. Whats the best way to prevent additional cracking ?

Drill a small hole on the end of that crack, it should stop the crack from growing.

Also, the cause could be that the screw there was too tight, perhaps loosen the all screws abit to relieve some stress.

maybe back the screw out it may be over tightened. Is it anywhere near the hatch hinge or lock? may be a stress point.

Best advice right there crack head. Bummer George, I've never seen that before. Didn't know porta potties were that fragile.
