First time out - Go light on gear and bring the cheap stuff. Scope the place out, learn how to handle yourself in the swells, launching and landing. A guide such as the Darkhorse will go through it more in depth.

High tide 1:33am - peak low at 9:38am, so an outgoing tide in the morning. I heard the surfers saying there is a swell in, but it's dropping to 2.5 feet and 8 seconds tomorrow. not very big, but a little close together, so if its your first time out the recommendation to travel light is good advise.
