Ruined Hobie hatches
Well, in prepping my revo for sale, I used a metal cleaner on all the little screw heads on the hatches and rudder. Metal looks great, but all the surrounding black on the hatches was stained by the cleaner.
Anyone know of used parts, or a fix so I dont have to shell out $100 for new hatches? Its purely cosmetic, but the rest of the boat is in excellent condition, and I want to sell it in perfect shape... If nothing else, my post can be a warning to be careful what products you use on your yak! |

Maybe you could try using Mequiars "Back to Black" cleaner/car detailer stuff... Less than 10 bucks at your local auto parts store. Be careful where you smear the stuff....
