Krill ceviche?????
Kevin (the kid): Gabe, scoop up some Krill!
Me: Krill? Why? Kevin: It makes awesome Ceviche! Me: Really?! Ok i'm on it! Got it...call me bubba shrimp! Amazing! And I thought I had made ceviche with just about every kind of sea food. I have been making ceviche for years now. And this is the best and tastiest I have ever made SOOOO GOOD! In this case I boiled the krill for about 10 seconds and soaked it in lemon juice for about 15 min and drained it. I don't like my ceviche overwhelmed with lemon. As you know, La jolla has been very slow since that wide open bite 3 weeks ago. I still have plenty of yellowtail in my freezer. But, I'm liking this more right now! Don't knock it till you try it! |

Are you sure it wasn't the "Knob Creek" that made it taste sooo good? I sure would like to give that a try. Wonder how it would be "Poke" style? Some soy, Sesame Oil, Green onion, sea salt & a little hot pepper flakes. Sounds yummy

That looks good! I assume the shell is not noticeable after boiling?

But do you put the krill in your mouth before you do a shot of knob or do the shot first? Or is it lemon, salt, krill, shot! I had to kick the hard stuff, I'll substitute with Makers.
