Rod holder deck mounts?
I want to mount rod holders behind my seat. Im considering Scotty rocket launchers. What's advantage does a locking deck mount have over a standard deck mount?
Iv'e had a flush mount pull free from its screws and will fix it using the reverse bolt method with some backing on the underside. Do these hold up better or are the standard mounts fine? |

that reverse bolt install is just WRONG!
I like rivets for flush mounts The standard mount Scotty has to be positioned so the "key" lines up, the locking ones can be inserted pointed any direction, and taken out any direction, with the button pressed.
