Someone should call the tv show Worlds Dumbest Criminals.

Glad they found the kayak and I hope they are able to get the rest of the stuff to the rightful owners.

Not to mention the people who make the purchases from what should obviously be viewed as stolen property. While some may say they are innocent they in my opinion are as guilty as the perpertrators.

Legally, a buyer can't be held liable if it was "Purchased in good faith" - thats the legal definition
Basically, if you buy something stolen, you are the legal owner of it now, as long has you had no prior knowledge of the matter. In incidents where things have serial numbers, like camera lenses or cell phones, there is a little more legal stuff to go through.

Anybody call the media?

They would have a field day with this, not to mention great publicity for a certain kayak board...

Rad....stoked we have had some success with retrieving stolen stuff. We still need some sort of equipment registration system on here. This might prevent us all from buying each others stolen stuff.

Part Name / Serial Number / Member Name

Brown truck

I just happened to be driving by this guys house as this was going
on. Large truck full of kayaks, bikes and stuff on its way to western
division on Gains street.
Remember that two tone truck involved in the L J shores Hobie Mirage Drive
theft. That same brown truck was in the driveway. So thats at least twice
for the BWE community from this guy.
Nice house and yard this guy has. Living is good.

does anyone know this guys name and have a description?

After I saw the other stuff this guy had on CL, namely that red beach cruiser, it looked like the same bike "the peddle thief" put on here to trade for a set of peddles..

someone pm me something!!!
