LA Jolla 10-18
No fog, cloudy, water 62 on the meter, calm wind, and bait wasn't too difficult to find. Only one other kayak OTW along with one skiff, the Dolphin, and a few lobster boats. No action except from a comorrant that nailed my greenback. As I grabbed the fish yak side it came up next to the yak and hissed at me. I thought its head was going to turn and green vomit was going to come out of its mouth. I smacked the water with the tip of my pole near the bird multiple times, hoping to deter it, but it kept charging in like a rabid pitbull. I like birds but this one followed me for about 1/4-1/2 mile so I was not able to drop bait another bait for awhile. Couple nice marks metered but no love for me today in La Jolla. Once on the beach I saw several hundred pelicans, comorrants, and sealions nailing bait 20 yards off shore at the launch. Amazing video on my phone but I can't figure out how to upload it
Great morning OTW
