Shimano

Nothing but good things to say. A few days ago, I broke a shimano crucial rod while on the water. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Anyhow, the damn thing exploded. Good thing I was on my way to Shimano to pick-up my reel they've had for 5 weeks. That thing was trashed (dumped in the sand during a surf launch over the summer).

Anyhow, got a perfectly clean/operating reel for only $25. To boot, I was told I could pick another rod out of the 2012 catalog to replace that broken Crucial rod!

Pretty stoked about that. Yesterday, the package arrived and in it a brand spanking new rod. Crucial CRC68HA.

Nothing but good things to say about the experience.

Bump to those companies that know how to appeal to the consumer.
