LJ 8-11 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Tiny waves at the launch. The water has seemed to cool off some. Fish finder decided to crap out and bait was very tough to find. Headed out with my one bait and passed Art landing YT's on 10lb line. A couple of minutes later my spanish turned into a ~8lb YT. Threw the iron for some 'cuda and watched YT follow it in. Pretty wide open bite with the sporties, private boaters, and kayaks all packed in close. Beautiful day on the water.

Thanks for the report. I'm thinking about going after work tonight, need to smoke something. On the smoker....

You put out a spanish and it turned into a YT? So, that's whqt they become when they grow up!

Kurt; pretty cool huh? gotta love perfect weather, lotsa fish and no seals.
10# was cool, I needed J-hooks.
