Hooped Opening Night
Well, I decided to hoop opening night and I'm glad I did. Didn't see a whole lot of people out. Conditions were nice and calm. Was on the water by 12am and hoops in the water by 12:30am. Pulled up tons of shorts. Never experienced that before. I started late last year so the pickings were small. Crawl seemed to end around 2am. Ended up with 5 keepers. I had another 5 that I measure multiple times and thought they were legal but decided to throw them back in. Just to close to call. I'm already over last years catch total. DFGs were ninjas. Most PBs coming in got checked. I got checked as I was packing it up around 3am. The two guys were pretty cool so no big deal. I did lose one flat hoop. Over all a good night.
Good luck out there everyone and be safe. |
