Straight spectra for bass

So I fish for bass only, right now I have a rig with 8lb straight spectra (white). I've got some 20lb (pink) that I want to fish straight. Whaddya think? Just worried about the color.

I fish 20lb green PP inside the harbor and 50lb Izor white on the breakwall / kelp. Lately i've been fishing straight braid and have noticed a decrease in lost set ups and the same amount of hook ups. Pink is a funny color, you could take a sharpie to 10' of it or something , but if Vermillion works why not pink right?

So you are saying that you don't use a flourcarbon/mono leader? Cool, I will have to try that.

Yep no leader. I love the 8lb straight. Gonna try the 20lb, even though it is pink. I'll just bring some leader material in case I don't like it.

I've used white and vermillion in kelp, boiler rocks and break walls for calicos and both worked great.

Not so when I tried 30# vermillion braid in SD bay for spotties/sandies. I got a lot fewer bites on the than I did with 6# fluoro on the same day. Really big difference.
