Pride - for WSB
This is a niche trip that I believe fits in nicely with the Lifestyle of Kayak Fishing.
Incase you didn't know Capt. Greg Gawitt Owner/Operater of Pride is presently running nightly 3/4 day Night Missions for WSB and Yellowtail out of Seaforth Landing • 1717 Quivira Road • San Diego • CA • 92109 •(619) 224-3383 (When onboard tell Greg you are a BWE guy there are benefits.) - This is not your average local sport boat captain that parks himself on top of your kayak while in La Jolla - in stark contrast he is kayak friendly and respectful of us local guys. I've been on board when he has offered kayak guys to come into the lights to make bait, or offered them a beer. -He's down with the WSB sickness He has a good crew and doesn't mind staying late if the bite dictates - 10 am return time is not unusual. The price is good - $99 for the trip, with turn around customers receiving a $50 ride. Location is everything - and you just might learn a new spot or two for your personal knowledge only. By this time I hope you have burned into your brains the words Spectra Rig. The big boys will clean your clock if you are fishing mono. I saw a half dozen guys loose larger models the other night because of their line choice - but I know you guys are dialed in on BWE. Bring the 65 lb./60 or the 50 lb./50 Spectra Rigs. Happy Fisherman on left - Capt. Greg on the right - 59 lb. WSB in foreground.

Would you know the number or the name of the charter business? When I get back to AZ next week to schedule a little trip for some WSB

nice fish... but... if that is the same boat I saw last week, they pulled in late, left early, and were very noisy the entire time...

Friday evening he parked a bit away from the pack. MUCH more respectful than a lot of PB's who got close enough to know what flavor gum I was chewing....

Very cool boat. Got out at first break today, before I could get a squid jig in the water the deck boss flagged me over to give me a full scoop of squid! It's the nice gestures that earn respect in my book, I will rep this guy!
