On the down side: The fish in the picture is the endangered Fishus Slimulus...they are protected in California and you should have released it. $600 fine for each fish! You are lucky you didn't get busted.

Was that you out at Cabrillo today? Nope Matt, that is the Lingus Toothicus which is easily mistaken for the Slimulus. Although, I think I read that they have to be 22 years old to be taken.

No I wasn't in cabrillo today.this guy was pushing 23 inches and according to DFG they just lowered it to 22 inches
