On the down side: The fish in the picture is the endangered Fishus Slimulus...they are protected in California and you should have released it. $600 fine for each fish! You are lucky you didn't get busted. |

Was that you out at Cabrillo today? Nope Matt, that is the Lingus Toothicus which is easily mistaken for the Slimulus. Although, I think I read that they have to be 22 years old to be taken.

No I wasn't in cabrillo today.this guy was pushing 23 inches and according to DFG they just lowered it to 22 inches
