LJ 7/1 AM
CAUGHT 3 YT ON A DAY AS FISHY AS I'VE SEEN THIS YEAR IN LJ. LAUNCH WAS SKETCHY ENOUGH THAT I STRIPPED DOWN MY RODS/REELS AND LASHED EVERYTHING DOWN JUST IN CASE. GOT WET, BUT THAT'S IT...NOT AS BAD AS I THOUGHT. BAIT AT THE PIER WAS AS MUCH AS YOUR TANK COULD HOLD AND IT DIDNT TAKE LONG TO MAKE. IT WAS FISHY THIS MORNING...BOILS, BIRDS, FINS BUBBLI'N...THE WHOLE DEAL. CUDA WERE A PAIN IN THE ARSE, THO....THEY GOT ME FOR 10 SPANISH MACS...SNAPPED LINES, SHORT STRIKES, ETC. OTHERS SEEMED TO SUFFER THE SAME FATE. NEVER REALLY MADE IT FULLY OUTSIDE AROUND THE POINT B/C HOOKED UP ON ALL THREE BETWEEN 6:30AM-8:00 AM WSW OF PIER JUST OUTSIDE (SOUTHEAST OF) THAT BUOY THAT'S OUT THERE. LOTS OF FOLKS FISHING OUTSIDE,THO, INCLUDING 2 PARTY BOATS...LOTS OF HOOPIN AND HOLLERIN....WE'LL SEE. CUDA CUDA CUDA....EVERYONE CAUGHT CUDA. ALSO SAW A FAAAAT HALIBUT LANDED, ANOTHER GUY WHO POSTS HERE ALOT (DONT KNOW NAME, BUT HAS BLUE KAYAK AND LONGER HAIR...NICE GUY) HAD 3 YT, AND I SAW LOTS OF OTHER BENT POLES. FOR THOSE WAITING FOR LJ TO BREAK...I THINK IT DID THIS AM.

It looks like we did a lot of long distance travelling when the yellows were much closer to the launch.
Congratulations, guys on nailing the triple yellows and nice halibut.
