Diawa Sealine Conversion info Needed
I have a bunch of Diawa Sealines 40HA in 4.9:1 Gear Ratio and I want to convert one to a 6:1 gear ratio.
Is there a specific part number that anyone knows that would make the transition easy ? Thanks Billy |

On other reels, I've changed gear ratios by swapping out the main and pinion gear.
I would assume you have to swap out the old pinion gear (F73-3301) for a new (F78-9801) and the old main gear (F73-3801) for a new (F78-9901). I haven't tried it on the Daiwa so I can't vouch for the accuracy of the info. |
