Rock fish season 02/29 or 03/01?

Does rock fishing season start Sunday or Monday?? In this pic off the website it doesn’t cover the 29th. Thanks for you time my bad if it’s a dump question. Safe then sorry.

Rock Fish open season doesn't start till March 1st

The surf and wind forecast does not look good for Sunday at La Jolla or anywhere close.

If your birthday is March 1st do you tell people its February 29th?

Exactly. Might not be a dumb question, but it isn't the smartest question either. March 1st is March 1st. Not Feb 29th, but....March 1st. Honestly, this didn't require a thread...some of you guys need to be spoonfed.

I was heading up to Santa Barbara this weekend for a kayak rockfish tourney, but with winds at 17mph at 7am with gusts to 27, and combined seas at 7-8 ft, I'm staying home.
