Looking for a fishing buddy
I'm pretty new to kayak fishing, only had my kayak for 2 weeks and been out on it 4 times inside newport harbor , most people say don't go out the harbor alone. so far i caught 3 legal halis and few good size spotties inside the harbor. i really want to venture out the harbor and try to catch some bigger fish. i launched at the coast guard station. I'm usually available to fish on saturdays and mondays.

John,
Looks like Saturday a few of us are going to be launching from La Jolla. We should be launching about 5:30am or so. The location is at the end of Avenida De La Playa. Dont try to drive on the beach unless you have a 4x4. There is a lot of very soft sand and its quite common to watch people get stuck. |

Harbor
If I caught three legal Halibut in the harbor in two week then I might consider staying there. Where are the pictures?
