MY FIRST TIME.....Well kinda

I woke up at 2:30am and left my house in HB to fish LJ. I was full of excitement as i drove down because, this was my first outing in my new yak! (x-factor) I got to the launch about 5:00 and set up my yak. As i was looking through my items i noticed some thing was missing.... my prescription polarized shades! Darn it! Well at least i had my cheep shades from work. I paddled out and was impressed how the x factor handled in the water. It tracked very well and got up to speed pretty quick. Looks like my girlfriend is gettin my Prowler. Bait was really easy to make right outside the preserve. I pinned on a nice mac and begun a slow troll on the outside of the kelp. As i was admiring my new kayak, i heard a loud splash right behind me. As i looked down i seen a Yellow dart under my yak. I thought to my self, this is going to be a great day. I took out my stick that had a dodo colored rapala on it, and threw it out. Three cranks and i was on! This was no yellow!!! I soon found out when a Thresher went flying out of the air. Ive released alot of threshers, and have also eaten my fare share when fishing from boats, but never from a kayak! I fought this shark for an hour in a half before it surfaced. When it got close enough to me, I put us both out of our misery with my Forshner. I made my girlfriend (and family) super happy with the delicious tacos that evening! Thanxs to the guys that helped me put him in my truck, i really appreciate the help.

That's just bad ass!! I lost my fist T because I didn't pay attention and was using old line as a leader, snapped off on the second pull. Hope you got a big enough fridge!!
