Where is the closest launch to the Bait Barge?
Anyone know where the closest launch is to the bait barge?
Someone said Lawrence Street maybe? Thanks. |

Lawrence St. is correct. Your not permitted to fish around there anymore so I assume your looking to get bait. Like it's been said, get a sabiki, there is plenty of bait in the bay. I caught both greenbacks and smelt on Sunday in the hopes to then get a halibut. No such luck, instead I caught a huge sculpin.

I'll suggest Spanish Landing, a little beach for launch, showers, rest rooms, good parking & pretty quiet; the only problem is: you are about 1.5 mile away from the bait barge.
