New here

Hello,

First post but have been reading the forum for a while. Pretty much got sold on the idea (although have a ton to learn) of kayak fishing when I did a test paddle.

Then upon even more research became very envious of everyone's posts with halibut, yt, wsb, thresher, etc. Can't wait to join in the fun!

Right now I am trying to relocate to the area (dead set on it/was there recently again in April) and the only minor bump is finding someone that will hire without a current local address it seems. Hopefully my sales experience and degree will help, but no luck so far.

Anyhow, I look forward to meeting some of you hopefully in the near future when I am able to find a permanent position there.

Lastly since everyone likes pictures of fish (even if not completely related to the area), here is a few catches from last year. Ohio is the steelhead and walleye, the bonnet shark and grunts are Florida Keys.

Also if anyone has recommendations for taller kayakers let me know. I really like Jackson Big Tuna and soon to be released Big Rig and the Hobie line although looks like Malibu has some offers as well.

Nice! I'm from here in CA, I don't recognize any of those fish. The shark looks like a baby hammer head. Is that correct?

It's a bonnet shark caught in the Florida Keys.
I am trying to relocate to San Diego. Just know I like seeing posts with pictures of fish haha so I put a few catches of mine from last year up. Nice job on the twin halibuts btw

Correct. I apologize, my initial post was kind of long but in case anyone missed that part rest again are a walleye (Lake Erie), steelhead (out of an Ohio creek), and the cooler has grunts (Florida Keys again).
