Getting to Catalina?
If anybody has some information for me on getting my kayak to two harbors that would be great. I looked up the marina Delray flyer but I think they're out of service. I know they used to take kayaks.

As far as I recall the only way to get your kayak to Catalina is a freight service. I do not recall the name. but you have to make arrangements for them to drop it off and pick it up. They offer some additional services where a boat will pick it up from Avalon and deliver it to Two Harbors . This has been discussed here on the forums in the past. A simple search should get you the answer unless someone else recalls.

Come on girl! You're young with a good bit of experience. Pedal on over there.

Thanks I'll check out the freight service. That was all I came up with.

Catalina
Hi Sharon, in the past, Capt. Wade who goes there several times a year has just rented a couple kayaks from the rental shop. He did ship his once but its a pain with delays between dropping it of and then picking up at Catalina and the return trip. Good luck.

Let me make it short.
Forget about it. They rent kayak at Two Harbors. Take a Hobie inflatable. |
