O-side Launch Points?

Is there anywhere to launch in Oceanside, harbor-side that the parking does not cost an arm and a leg, or does not require walking a mile? I've scoured the google maps of the harbor but it does not seem to be anywhere else to launch that is not beach side.

O'side

When I launch out of the harbor I buy the pass and then sell the pass to someone else for a couple bucks off it is good until eight that night. Not exactly smiled upon by the harbor police. Be discreet . I have talked to guys that launch from the dock over by the police station. IM not limber enough to hop in and out from a dock.

O'side harbor

Park on the street for free over by the police station and launch off the guest docks.

I live in Carlsbad and deal with the same problem. I have found good spots to get out through the surf. I just put all the poles inside the kayak during launch/land. It can get tough sometimes though.

N. Harbor Dr. in O'side there are a some public docks right after the small fishing pier. it is a 1 min. peddle/paddle from the bait barge. $10 for a scoop of dine and $5 for a tip.
then about 1/4-3/4 mile out from the wall are some man made reefs.
Just it can get a little crazy with all the sail boats in the harbor but it is a great place for reef fishing! can get into some amazing hali action.
I got racked on about 10 dines but just wasn't my day to bring one in

Carlsbad gave me PTSD from surf launch.
