Cat suggestions
Headed out to Catalina next week, once targetting bass and once for who knows what.
I've never been out there so does anyone have any suggestions for the bass? Live bait seems like it's not going to be an option the first time around, so just swimbaits and some other plastics? Maybe throw a flatfall if it's slow? I've read that waxwings might be a good thing to have in the box so I'll take any other suggestions to throw in the bag while I'm at Squidco. The second trip is a charter so I'm not sure if we're aiming for YT or bass or whatever. The extent of my YT fishing has been in LJ with live macs and some hardware. I'm assuming surface irons, flat falls, megabait and live bait would be the best bet for this trip? Thanks for any tips. Stoked to finally make it out to Catalina. |

Chunk mack is werkin fer the cats.
Slowtroll baits along the moorings below Avalon to the quarry. You wont be alone but some good grade.
