AM session and a cool sighting

Fished San Pedro this morning.
Nothing on the inside but caught a couple Calicos on the outside on plastics. One chunky one that taped out at 20 inches. Got the skunk off.
Saw a large turtle near the breakwall on the outside. Thought it was a baby seal at first because its head was so big. About 4 ft long. Swam right under the yak and disappeared too fast to get a photo.
First turtle sighting for me in Cali.
Lots of boiling bait and bird activity.
Trolled some metal around bait balls for a while and picked up a mac or two but nothing else.
Water temp was about 65 and glassy.
Nice morning.

Nice. Did you guys get all your fish on the outside?
Had a few short bites on the way in then it shut down when the current slacked off. Should have stuck it out a bit longer.
See you out there
Steve

We got 3 or 4 each on the inside but not at the wall. Then got all our fish within 1/4 mile of the light. Lost a few bigguns. Got a few big ones and another toad in 50 at the entrance. Most fish on the longline plastics or scrounge in the kelp
