L.J. 09/13/05 A.M.
Launched @ 06:00, small surf and no wind. Water 67. Jammed up to the mushroom house for a quick dozen greenies. Baits in the water @ 06:30. One big boil in 135' north side. Dragged the greenies outside to the sporties and finally got an 8lber that I released. All I saw caught were small fish and I think the greenies were too big but the baits were not huge, just 6 - 8 inch stuff. Caught 3 on a small hand painted Tady all about 8 lbs. All released including one by a dog. Caught some spanish for the troll home. My friend had not been bit yet and was discouraged at this point. I talked him into one last bait at the point, saw some boils and he ran into a nice 23lber to save his day!!! At least we got one quality fish. South wind coming up at about 10:30. Jim had a nice conversation with a P.Ber that I'm sure you all will hear about. On the beach at 11:15.
