Anyone game for cabrillo tomorrow morning.

I am thinking of hitting up cabrillo tomorrow in the am paddling out towards the kelp for calicos. After seeing my buddy almost sink at la jolla a few weeks back I am kind weary about going alone. Anyone up to it for tomorrow?

Just picked up my new\first kayak today would really like to go fish the kelp out in Pt. Loma after I get a little comfortable on the water. I have spent quite a bit of time working out at the treatment plant there around the tip and was always curious why I did not see more kayaks out there. Is it because of how far it is or because of the sub base? Just curious and would really like to go later in the year.
