Careful out there

Just a reminder to PLEASE be careful if you are getting on the water this weekend. This is the opening of drunk-ass on the water season, and I know I have seen my share of trashed jackasses in boats and on PWCs that think it is funny to buzz the yakkers or set autopilot while they go make their sixth cocktail of the morning.

Keep your head on a swivel, carry a whistle and wear your PFD. We are a small, tight community. We don't need to get smaller when it can be avoided.

Great comments, and to add to it, out fish the boats like we do most of the time!

Haha, Nice! I know having live squid at the bait barge in Newport is tempting, but I'm going to avoid that boat traffic this weekend, hopefully find somewhere with less boat pressure.

You all have fun this weekend...I'm hanging w my gal. Brownie points for later, plus I don't play well with crowds anymore.

Thanks for the reminder!

Last year was Nutz in MB. Lifeguards were cruising around trying to keep everyone in their place. I was on-edge the whole time. Kept getting buzzed by PWC's and didn't catch any fish anyway.

I'm not so sure I'll be heading out this weekend....may soak at home in the pool and dream about fishing.
