Fishing Advice for Mackerel
Anyone with advice on catching mackerel? I'm also hoping I could get these without having to take the kayak out. Maybe on a pier or shore.
Should I get a sabiki rod? Or just the rig? Buy uni goop? uni butter? Good locations? I'm trying to catch them for bait for lobster. I'm in the San Diego area. |

Crystal pier has macks as well but not that often. I have about 10 pounds of Sardines you can have for free, I don't think I'll be lobstering much more this season.
I'm sure there is some law against giving away fish, so I can leave my garage open and you can steal them from my deep freezer. |

What, you don't like these cold f-ing nights with 10 shorts and no keeps. How did it go from full bore to zips so fast? If I could've released half my keeps for the 2nd half of the season...on to the next nightly challenge!

When will you be leaving your garage open? Because I need a deep freezer. Since your new location is "inside Candy", Team Sewer's well used groupy, I'm sure that you have a two car garage door on both her front and back door that are surrounded by very heavy brush. If your talking about that broken down door on her face that's surrounded by that yellowish picket fence then you better check your freezer because just by the look of her I can pretty much surmise that her breath smells like rotting bait with a few farts thrown in here and there. That neighborhood of ugly ass face that surrounds that entry scares the bejesus out of me. On second thought, never mind.... I don't need a deep freezer THAT bad. SH#T, You can store your PA along with a thousand gold bars in there and even though none of her doors actually close properly no one would dare enter except Jorluivil.
