Critical MLPA Hearing Oct 20-21 in San Diego
La Jolla isn't safe from MLPA closure!
Everything we battled for is at risk. The recent shake-up of the Fish and Game Commission stacks the deck 3-2 in favor of staunch MLPA supporters. They haven't been this strong in years. The situation is now so dire, the other side will be tempted to chuck the IPA in favor more restrictive plans. You know they still want ALL of La Jolla. If we aren't on guard, we could still lose everything. Move heaven and earth to pack the house when the Commission meets in San Diego on Oct 20-21 at the Four Points by Sheraton on Aero Drive. More details once the agenda is posted. This will probably be the next to last time the commission meets on the South Coast MLPA. There's one more in December, an adoption hearing. That one is set for December 15-16 at the Hotel Mar Monte in Santa Barbara. Most likely you'll only have to attend one day. Make plans now. Don't bother to post a reply. This thread will be pinned and locked shortly. |
