Ok, why not get this contest rolling and be the king at least for a couple days or so.

40lbs even (no good shot of scale, but can confirm weight with Mako Bob)

46in

Baja

First one kept the skull otoliith intact, second one removed the stones (got a 30lb. sea bass as well). Thanks Bob for taking care of the dirty business

I apologize, I see your picture now. The tapatalk app was not showing me the full tape shot, just the head shot of the fish. Opened the post on computer and I see what you mean.

Mitchell I just re read you post on yorlur 60lb claim. You have no scale or tape... just words. I see nothing wrong with the judging. You caught a nice fish.. record probably not... a good fish tho.

Under a blood moon lunar eclipse Did not get an accurate weight : (
Cut it up to weigh it.....wish I would have taken it to the Marlin club or OEX for official weight unprepared and had to workX
It was 57ins long tail was 11ins wide did not measures girthX
Over 60lbs with blood loss .....because a fish is longer doesn't mean it'

perspective, the tape is sticking up as it is over the fillet knife.

Calling the winner a cheater will get my vote for banning you from this forum!

You never followed the very simple rules of submitting your fish

Quote:
Each angler’s submission must be accompanied by one photo of the angler with the fish, preferably on the kayak.

In addition, for each fish submitted, the weight needs to be supported by photo of the fish on a measuring tape showing its total length in inches. The fish must be weighed on an accurate scale. Reported fish weight will be compared to length to verify accuracy. As an alternative, the angler may submit the fish with weight obtained from the certified fish weigh-in station - certified weigh-in stations (Dana Landing, Fisherman's Landing, possibly your local tackle shop with certified scale). When submitting a fish with weight obtained from a certified scale, no tape shot picture is required. The weigh master should give you documentation, or just snap a photo of the weight showing on the scale.

Yeah I also see the start of the tape hanging off the truck near the tail. I see the head at 59 but no deduction for the other end's off measure .

Mitchell you caught a nice fish. Be stoked. I'm betting bigger fish were caught and not posted. Thus those guys didn't win either. Why make a scene? Do you want a refund?
