GONZAGA 22-28 March Chuck D
This is for Chuck D's SPRING BREAK at our place in paradise, because of a NEW family member coming soon Chuck might be grounded for a while. Actually this is the 1st fishing trip of 2017. If the weather is good, spring fishing can be great.
Chuck knows the area so follow him to all his spots, if you can. Meals can be done at the restaurant or in camp. Each person will be responsibe for one nights meal for everyone. You bring the food, cook it and clean up afterwards, OR you bring meat to restaurant, pay $5.00 per person and they do the prep, cooking and cleanup. Restaurant usually serves rice, beans, tortillas, salsa and a salad. Drinks and a tip are extra. As an example I take 2 racks of ribs and dinner for 6 including a beer each and tip run $40-45.00................for me that is much better them having to prep everything, cook and then clean up. HOWEVER, the NEW Kitchen should be ready and finished before this trip. Big double sink, counter space, food processor, pots, pans, plates, silverware, and cooking utensils. YOU must still BRING YOUR OWN CUP. As normal plan on providing your own breakfast and lunch and remember your drinks and drinking water. It can still get cool in the evenings so a coat or jacket might be needed. Chuck D Makobob Those wishing to come on down, please post here and tight lines to all.

I'll be down before that. Boats in the shop so I can make a lumber run. This is my new contribution. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SO STOKED!!! Thanks Bob for throwing it out there. Definitely a great time to be in Baja, slayed the WSB and exotics a couple years ago around that time. Looking forward to getting some old and new faces out there, come on BWE! Also open to maybe leaving the 21st. Time to get back to paradise, thanks again Bob!!! The countdown begins...

YES SIR ROBERT, they cook what you bring usually in the way you want. Yum, Posole sounds good in this cold weather.

Yup. Weather was nice. Visibility not so much. 10 foot murk. Still pulled some rabbits out of hats.
Chabelita needs some serious fiberglass work but we didn't sink. Gill netters and their bycatch....sad Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That short gun appears to be rad. Hurts to see the sea life in peril, lots of dead sea birds after the wind storm too. Did you guys enjoy diving with Miguel? See you back soon, Tight Lines and Deep Dives.

miguel was AWESOME! we went to a new spot, saw some grouper UNDER 100 pounds but good sign of bigger around. also WHIFFED an easy shot on very much the world record pargo amarillo at 50-60 feet. oh well can't win em all. took three decent cabrilla and a small gulfie (mistaken for a cabrilla deep in a hole) letting em grow for later, no need to go blasting everything in sight.

16 FEB, got back yesterday and here are the results of a few days of work. Had the block work done while I was in San Diego. Then framed and installed windows and door and got the plywood up. We now have the NEW KITCKEN. Cabinets are in place but countertops and kitchen sink still need to be done, well maybe next week after SENTRY Appointment on the 23rd of FEB. DSC00331.jpg
The project is coming along and we will be cooking by SPRING. Tight Lines.

Frank, it is SOLID, framed in 2x6, I won't worry about the winter winds. As to the Paint Party I have 2 gallons of paint/primer and will pick up 4 more gallons. Hopefully that should cover both buildings. Getting close. Rob, see you next weekend amigo. Almost finished this DREAM. Tight Lines.
