Thanks.

We pay for our own policing and then some. We also pay for the protection of species, and unfortunately we paid for all those meetings where they make MLPAs and stuff.
Anyway, thanks for posting. Good read.

Believe it or not, I was just looking at the membership yesterday, but I didn't pull the trigger...yet. I will soon. I want to do the lifetime but with two kids in college I need to conserve in a different kind of way for a little longer.
I teach Hunter Education, so I have talked to a lot of DFW folks during our annual meetings. You bring up a good point though, that if we are really interested in protecting our rights as hunters and recreational fishers, then it is in our best interest to attend these meetings and have our voice be heard, and stay on top of what's happening.
Keep pushing people like me...You are like a pastor for fishing. You keep reminding us to follow the right(eous) path to a better future.

Very interesting numbers. I'm surprised that Santa Barbara commercials bring in 17X the volume and 4X the value of San Diego.
