Anyone have Baitrunners?

I was looking into buying some baitrunner reels. I looked into daiwa, shimano, okuma, and penn. Not sure which one to get. Anyone have baitrunners that would like to give their 2 cents would be appreciated...

I got the shimano thunnus ci4 super light and crazy amount of drag......dont pay retail for some reason tthey dont sell well so you can get a crazy deal for used ones. I like the 8000 size I cant cast for crap with a conventional reel so I use it for throwing light irons

I love my Shimano 6000. Caught a lot of fish with it.

I also have an Okuma, but have not used it much. It feels good though.

The newest one I have is the new completely sealed Penn. I got it for surf and kayaking, but so far I have used it more on piers.

Very smooth and feels really good.

I have 4500 and 6500 Baitrunners and have used them on Cattle Boats often on everything from Calicos to Yellowtail and they've always worked great. I'm trying to teach myself how to cast better with baitcasting now.

I love the versatility a baitrunner gives to a spinning reel. Works like a clicker on a conventional with similar adjustability to line tension. Just wish the click would be louder. The ones I've used are relatively quiet. I've used shimano and okuma. Quality is reflected in the price, but the okuma is a great bang for the buck. The penn spinfisher baitrunner looks great- waterproof drag and full metal body for reasonable price.
