Ahhh yess the map showed trindad in humboldt county.. that area is infested with sharks, when i went to school up there for fishery bio, i commonly saw seals on the beach with chunks taken out of them.. made you think 2x before entering the water to catch the large surf up there.

That a risk we take everyday when we get out of bed:

Frank seven ways of dying:

1) Ignoring God's Law
2) Getting killed by wife for playing starwars extensively as in all day long
3) Getting Killed by wife for booking trips on BWE
4) Getting Killed by wife for fishing too much
5) Getting killed by Tony.
6) Getting killed while driving
7) Getting killed during kayak fishing...e.i shark attack, kayak sinking etc

I will be very surprised if i don't die by any of these ways

I bought a sling shot (HD) and pepper balls to use the next time I have a run in with one. If that doesn't work I 'm also carrying SS ball bearing shot to aim at his nose.
FFY.

Met a guy in Newport this past Monday that says his kayak was hit by a baby great white in Long Beach this past November. I'm not sure if it was a great white, but he said he had teeth mark around the bow. The tone is his voice as he told me the story added a sense of realness to it. Anyone else here about this?

Probably not seeing how juvenile GWS only eat fish. They have not yet developed the teeth they need for tearing. Now, if he had fish dangling in the water, that would be another story.
