Kayak Stolen from OEX MB
Hey guys, Just came into the store for the morning and last night somebody decided to cut locks and steal the Camo Xfactor we are currently selling (Brents personal boat). This kayak is one of the VERY few camo boats available, has a KayaTank, a scotty base on rear hatch, and the OEX logo permanently molded to the kayak next to the seat.
We ask that the BWE crew keeps their eyes open and if you see anything let us know! There is already a police report in and we will be looking at surveillance footage this afternoon. If you hear/see anything please let us know at 619-866-6129 or call SDPD directly and give them the case ID number 34486. They can be reached at 858-523-7334 to report any leads on stolen item. OEX/BWE thanks you for your help in possibly resolving this manner. |

That sucks!
I came in one morning last year to find the cable cut on my rack, but nothing gone. It helps that I have a 24 hour 7/11 across the street.

Kind of odd... broke locks to get in, and then took a used kayak and nothing else? Your POS (Point of Sale, not Piece of S___) system and computer are worth more, and easier to carry!
Especially with keys to the jet skis, and everything else right next door, and all of the retail inventory wasn't touched either? What about the guy that has slept in the outside area on the east side of the building for the last ten years, he didn't see anything either? Something fishy going on here... It's the B&E, kayak joyriding, gremlin! Or somebody with a few too many shrooms decided it was a good night to go for a paddle! Regardless, I hope you find Brent's ride, it is a sweet one! |

Chuck, They were stolen form the rack out back. Although there were new/newer kayaks I would have taken before this one. It was with all out Used and Demo kayaks.
