What is typically biting Nov-Mar
Sorry about Newb question but I wont be able to fish till mid Nov and I realize waters will start to cool. I only go offshore 1-2 miles so what should I be targeting for during the winter?

WSB HALIBUT they're around all year long, the only challenge is getting them to bite. Best advise I can give during this time of the year is to always carry some squid and target rockfish if nothing else is biting. Rockfish are very tasty and a limit of them will provide more than a decent meal. Make sure you make yourself familiar with the regs on these critters because although they all fall under the same category there are different limits sets on specific species
