Thinking about making the drive from lax area tomorrow to la jolla hows the weather I looked it up but just wanted to make sure that the weather is as calm as the predictions say can u drive on to the beach to launch or is that still closed thanks for any info

yep its as nice as they say...probably a little offshore breeze in the am and cold but after that should be decent....small surf and the launch is open.

I'm thinking about going tomorrow too. 50% rain and possible high surf and really high tide. Could get interesting. Getting out isn't to hard but sometimes coming back in can be a little dicey. I can feel their going to bite.

Looks good to me, i'd go. Would you rather eat Turkey or Fish? Tides are swinging huge tomorrow morning. Plan for that....

The launch has been iffy
The launch has been getting washed out every few days bc of the real high tides and the rain. They just rebuilt the beach yesterday, so you should be good to drive onto the beach.
