Thanks to the crew @ OEX Mission Bay!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know about a cool thing that happened to me.
I usually wear waders, but it's a little warm for that now, so I decided to buy some of the Stohlquist pants and water moccasins so that at least I've got coverage from the sun, as my German/Hungarian roots sizzle pretty quick.

So I roll down to OEX, and BAMN, a million little kids holding summer camp on the point, and not a parking spot in sight. Hmm? What to do? I drive an F350 so it's not like I can just park it anywhere. So I tuck myself in the corner, and while blocking a couple spots, I call OEX up from their parking lot.

Brent (not Torgy though, Brandt maybe?, sorry, too much punk rock- my hearing is a little shot) answers the phone. He checks the inventory for my sizes, and then...he runs out to the truck, grabs my card, runs back in, runs back out with the paperwork to sign, my receipt, and my new gear. I never had to get out of my truck. It was like drive-thru kayak gear shopping. Epic!

It seems like a small gesture, but I thought it was awesome.
Much props to all the guys down at OEX M.Bay!
Thanks again.

All the guys at OEX Mission are very solid with the Customer Service. They have always treated me well. This is why I will drive out of my way just to pick stuff up from them when I need it.

Now that is what customer service is all about. Unlike the service I received at West Marine in Oceanside yesterday. 20 minutes walking around the store and not one person asked if I needed help. I would've spent a lot more money if they did.

Way to go OEX!
