took a FRIDAY FOR ME!!

YA u ain't lying bait was there and then not there launched about 0630 awesome conditions at L J, flat water still warm, saw bait by the marker but passed it up thinking Id make it further west...... nope.... not happening. decided to find a honey hole and got JELLO !! watching a pb get a couple of YT abt 100 yrds from me... grrrrrrr.. Ended the long day with 8 hrs on the water and fish taco FRIDAY all in all Im glad I took took the day off me some ME time!!!! All on a Lucanus jig

At least you brought back some nice Fish Taco meat. Yeah bait has been really hard to find at times and other times you find it and nothing happens after hours of trolling or fly lining. Some days even the seal didn't want then. Hope things go back to normal soon. Thanks for sharing.

Nice haul. Is that a Shimano (TM) Lucanus, or one of the cheaper knock-offs? Are they better than diamond jigs and similar for not getting hung up?

YUP!! Shimano Lucanus jigs with a trevela Rod and Calcutta 400D all together works great!!!!
