Hi I was going to launch out of the South Shore Launch and hit the rip rap around the Queen Mary. It will be my first time in LB Harbor. Do you launch from there? If so, how much does it cost? Thanks!

I lunch from the end of the Peninsula. Ocean and 69th pl.
Parking on the street is free and you find parking spots if you get there before 6:30 or 7:00. If that is full you can pay to park at the end of the street. Mark |

Mark,
Does the swing gate on 69th pl ever get locked? I want to launch there but afraid it might be closed and locked when I come back. Thanks. |

-69th street for free parking and it has beach/harbor launching capability to reach the south end of the the harbor -cabrillo launch ramp. $7 or $10 a day (pay at meter), and can launch either launch ramp, or sand near pier, or beach side (outside of harbor). capability to reach san pedro bait barge easily and gives access to angel's gate north end of the harbor. Cabrillo is also a well known halibut spot
