LJ 7/5

Had my son in town over the weekend. He wanted to go fishing. Don't have to ask me twice. Borrowed Adi's tandem and hit the water. Put a couple macs in our ghetto bait tank (cat litter pail) and let him go to work on the sabiki. Pinned on the first greenie, tossed it out, and before I could turn on the clicker it gets smoked. Away we go. A little too much to hook and hand, at least on his first trip. End result, 32.8lb YT and a huge smile from the little one. Even got him to chow down on the fresh sashimi that evening.

Very cool. I can't wait for my son to catch one or be out there when I catch one.

Congrats Brad and son. That's a hell of an intro to kayak fishing.
