High Sierras - Rawson Ponds
Ok, so I fished a dozen or so High Sierra lakes and caught two small rainbows. I tried everything and no luck. But then..... Rawson ponds out of Bishop produced. After a couple days of fishing we caught dozens of large mouth bass and bluegill. This place never fails to produce for me.

I couldn’t agree more! Catching those 6-10” bass on 2lb leader with size 8-10 hooks on bobbers was a blast. They would hit and the bobber was gone. Kids were so happy. I spend hundreds on gear, but a dozen worms, 3$ in hooks and a 25 cent bobber can make an entire trip! Thanks for watching.
