Woke up at 5:30 and looked outside and couldn't see across the street. So, I slept a bit longer. Launched from the ramp at about 7:30 to lots of fog and an offshore breeze. Water was 59º and change everywhere and very clear out at the Pipe. Wind turned onshore around 9:30 and the fog lifted though didn't burn off.
Fished a lot of different baits and colors, though none seemed to be the right one exactly. Finished with 5 bass (2 legal) each caught on a different color. Unfortunately, my 8lb setup was giving me problems so I fished almost the whole morning with my 17lb setup. I'm sure I could've done better over all with the lighter rig as 3 of the fish were on that before the free spool died. Off the water by 11:30. Overall, it was a nice morning and I'm glad I didn't stay home.
