Though the flat lens has it's focus advantage, I personally like the fish eye
lens due to the fact it gets alittle more scenery in, I had the camera on the other day on a small fish, but what I didn't realize until I viewed what I recorded that two "dogs" popped up on my starboard side I don't think a flat lens would have caught...the flat lens looks better though when viewing a recording, thanks for the heads up

its a mod. taking out the IR filter. you can run whatever lense you want and also record at night.
