It's slow winter fishing
Fish are usually caught in deeper water in winter
Whatever you catch for bait on a sabiki rig usually mackerel I use 2/0 ringed hooks with a 4oz egg slider this time of year

it wasn't this year i caught those fish

last year

i caught 5

in one day last year in December
