flipped the boat at LJ
Yep, I did it. Shoulda just gotten out instead of riding the surf in. Unleashed rods and all. Lost 3 but managed to find 2 of em.
In the unlikely chance that someone found my favorite iron stick, its a 6'ft seeker graphite with a very nice torium 20 reel, AND furthermore it has a very nice brand new yellow butterfly jig attached. This was at the La jolla landing........ Good luck everyone!!! Chris |

Bummer Chris. With all the gear lost at the shores, it is surprising that anyone can launch there without tripping over something. Somewhere out there are dozens of rods, tackle boxes, bait tanks, mirage drives and who knows what else. Where does all this gear go?
On to the important question. Did you catch anything? Bob |

just like your feet if you stand at the water edge and let the waves go in and out they bury themselves to become some part of a sandy silt stone on a mountain top in ten millions years for some archeology student to ponder. so don't feel so bad,if your name was on it you might become famous as the remains of some long lost culture! hopefully your name was on it! |

Do you offer a Dive Service ? -If not you should because there could be a nice profit in it. BWE members could call you after a wipeout and hopefully regain their fishing gear, etc. Something to think about....let us know. |

Sure Jimmy, its more a pride and gear thing. Good lesson for you. Its about time you left the bay and started going after big fish. That cobra can take plenty of weight (like a nice big seabass for example). Just make sure you leash up for the surf zone
