If it's the new style x factor with the hinged rear hatch the x factor bait will not work. It would not pass the hinged part.

Thanks, I'll check with him.
Ok, he says it's hinged, what options does he have in order to use the stock drop in tank? |

I would just make a Vittles vault type bait tank instead of dropping more money on another hatch and the drop-in bait tank, it would definitely be much less expensive. |

the x factor has a few choices for bait tanks and it has grooved molds already for like a 5 gallon tank.
something like this would be fine http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com/...omplete/Detail |
