quick limits on full moon
launched the 13' whaler at 4pm and cruised on over to our honey hole. tried a new method of baiting this time... i stab the bait a bunch of times with a knife while my buddy drives the boat. nets in the water at 5:45. had 17 legals and released 15 shorts by 7:30. tossed back 3 females to live another day. back on land and had the boat scrubbed by 9pm.
i saw only 1 kayaker on the way out, but he was heading in, and he didnt look like he was fishing.

Well done...
This whole fishing thing is way over-rated. Lobster. Crabs. "We don't need no stinking fish!!" |
