Mission Bay 01/14/16
I launched at Mission Point this morning about 7AM. I paddled out to the mouth of the bay and let the tide take me back in for a drift. I set out a squid for the drift. I had two squid cut in half on the drift but nothing really exciting happening. After three drifts I decided to troll the flats. Lots of little bass biting on my little crawfish plug but nothing in the legal class. I still had a great day, the water temp was 57 when I launched and 58 when I came in at 11:00, there was no wind. There were some pretty big swells coming into the bay and you could hear the surf so I think it was rougher on the open water. I saw one hobie come in about 10 from the open water and one guy paddling over by the bridge but I didn't catch up with him to see if he was having any luck. It was a nice day though.
