the final countdown. . .
Lobster season is quickly coming to an end. Weather windows over these coming few days were looking dicey up to the close. So Tuesday was my day. I was kind of surprised to see a couple other kayaks and at least 3 boats working the secret spots.
now I know why. . . Good luck at the home-stretch! |

I do believe there was a small craft advisory out on Tuesday night. Good haul. I hit the small wall on Wednesday and ended up with 2. But I got seriously harassed by some juvenile sea lions. They followed me all the way to the beach.

Seas looked calm. Wind was down. Sea lions out in force. A couple of trashed nets fixed with zip ties. Lost one trap to the seas. No guts no glory. |
